Simpler wands could be imbued with a single effect: one such wand was made by the High Aldwin Lugumph out of blackroot, and had the power to turn its victims into blackroot fungus. The wand of Cherlindrea, however, was designed to increase its wielder's overall power[1] by channeling energy.[2]
