The Lich is a member of The Gales, four monstrous creatures that include The Scourge, The Doom, and The Dag.[1]
One evening, the Lich sat over a fire and said “the child has revealed herself”, referring to Elora Danan. He also infected Ballantine, commanding him to follow his orders and to kidnap Elora. [2]

The Lich speaks, reads and writes the Pnakotic langauge, which is tied to his arcane knowledge and skills.[1]
