Prisoners of Skellin is the sixth episode in the Disney + television series, Willow. The episode aired on December 28, 2022.
Synopsis[]
The heroes trek behind enemy lines into the Dread Mines of Skellin to save their friends as they cross paths with a mysterious scoundrel.
Plot Summary[]
The Crone tries to tempt Airk to come on his side but Airk denies him and tries to leave. He walks through a seemingly endless desert in an attempt to find his way home.
Meanwhile, the Trolls take Willow and Kit back to their lair. The march the two inside, through a series of caves and tunnels. They push them along and into a cage where they lock them up. Kit gives Willow words of encouragement. Someone, laughs at her optimism telling her he thought the same when he was thrown in the jail about ten years ago. Willow asks him he who is and he says Madmartigan (but really it is Allagash).
A troll named Lord Sarris comes over to chat with Willow and Kit. He asks who they are and Kit identifies herself as princess of Tir Asleen. They ask her what she’s doing in the Wildwood and she says looking for someone. The troll tells her she’s going to spend the rest of her life here and that no one is coming to save her. They explain their goal is to really incentivize them to work with the Trolls. The others who weren’t captured find their way to the Troll City, Skellin. They manage to break in, following Boorman’s lead.
The Trolls continue to question Kit, explaining they are really interested in Elora Danan.
Meanwhile, instead the Dread Mines of Skellin, the group carefully walk along. Graydon asks Elora if they’re good, explaining he thinks they had a connection. Elora’s wand goes haywire and accidentally makes the cave shake, liquid bubble, and strange things happen. The Trolls come to see what’s going on. They realize Kit and Willow’s friends, including Elora, must have come.
Allagash admits he’s not really Madmartigan. Kit recognizes his name. Allagash claims to know where he is and that he is in fact alive. He says he and Madmartigan were betrayed by Boorman. Kit and Allagash manage to break free.
Scorpia decides to leave, realizing Jade has her own family. She tells Boorman to take his chance to make things right. She kisses him and leaves.
While walking down a small pathway, Elora accidentally loses her wand. The groups end up reuniting, apart from Graydon who is down below. They eventually find a secret doorway, but they need to solve a riddle to open it. Elora solves it and they find a treasure room. Kit finds a sword. She hears Madmartigan’s voice asking for help but the city starts to collapse.
Graydon finds his way back to the group. They fight off the trolls and manage to escape. Kit starts to fight with Elora, but suddenly gets hit by a boulder. Elora tries to save her with magic.
Airk ends up where he started again. He suddenly hears a voice. He follows the sound and sees a girl trapped in a cell. She asks him to let her free.
