A magic spring (also referred to as a magic pool) was the source of the River Freen. It was located in the northwestern Nockmaar Mountains, and its water could magically heal injuries and restore vitality. However, nobody ever managed to discover the precise location of that pool, for the climb to the Freen's headwaters was too exhausting, and it was impossible for airborne searchers to advance against the strong mountain winds.[1]
