Leontes the Traveller was an explorer and writer. He dedicated all his writing to his patron, Queen Dell of Galladoorn. Leontes made several attempts to cross the Nockmaar Mountains in hopes of exploring the uncharted reaches of land beyond them, but to no avail. According to his reports, he ran into "foul beasts that flocked upon [his] trail and ahead, in numbers to darken the sky." Those accounts, however, were undoubtedly exaggerated.[1]
