The High Aldwin, also spelled High Aldwyn, was the head of all Aldwins, the sorcerers and informal leaders of the Nelwyn villages. Like all members of their order, the High Aldwins discontinued using their birth name upon assuming office. Upon death, however, their former birth name returned to them, so they could be registered in the Nelwyn archives. In the years that led to the heroic quest of Willow Ufgood and the fall of evil queen Bavmorda, Junn was the High Aldwin.[1]
