A single-headed dragon
Dragons were powerful sentient creatures of the Mother World that lived outside all rules and structures. They considered themselves the center of the universe about which all revolved. Although they most resembled immense winged lizards, they could assume other guises at will.[1]
When Willow Ufgood left his village on a quest to bring Elora Danan to the Daikini crossroads, his son Ranon suggested that he might encounter dragons. Two-headed, fire-breathing dragons encountered by Willow are known as Eborsisks.[2] During his travels, Willow also met a friendly dragon called Matanda.[3]
Alternate history[]
In the non-canon Chronicles of the Shadow War trilogy, Calan Dineer was a massive and wise dragon that carried Willow to Tir Asleen in his dream.[1]
