Burglekutt was the prefect of a Nelwyn village village and presided over the village council.

Character History[]

Burglekutt sold seeds to the farmers in the village and accused Willow of stealing seeds from him, but Willow explained that his family had been gathering them in the forest since the previous autumn. Later, he mocked and demoralized Willow in the village fair, as he performed his magic trickery and later was presented among the hopefuls of the High Aldwin.

After the village was attacked by Death Dogs during ht fair, Burglekutt expressed his opinion to the village council that the culprit responsible should be thrown in the pit. When Willow presented Elora Danan to the High Aldwin, Burglekutt once more attempted to make Willow's life difficult by saying that it would be fair that Willow take the child to the Daikini crossroads. When Vohnkar volunteered to accompany him, Burglekutt forbade it, claiming Vonkhar was the village's best guardsman. High Aldwin, sensing Burglekutt's ill-temper, made him the "leader" of the expedition, to which a frightened Burglekutt ordered Vonkhar to participate in the expedition. Upon reaching the crossroads, he insisted they give the baby to Madmartigan, the first Daikini they met, and turn back home. Willow did not trust the Daikini as he was imprisoned in a crow's cage and objected to giving the baby to him. Burglekutt then took the three warriors with him and left Willow and Meegosh.[3]
