Airk Tanthalos is the son of Queen Sorsha and Madmartigan, and the Daikini prince of Tir Asleen.[1]
Biography[]
Early life[]
Prince Airk Tanthalos was a Daikini noble, the son and eldest child of Queen Sorsha of Tir Asleen and Madmartigan. He was born one minte before his twin sister, Kit Tanthalos.[2] He is the grandson of Queen Bavmorda and King Tanthalos IX.[3]
Later Years[]
Airk is a skilled, if somewhat reckless swordsman, he was also known for being a womanizer, until he fell in love with a kitchen maid he only knew as "Dove." Two hundred moons after the Battle of Tir Asleen, Prince Airk was captured by the Gales, who took him to the Withered Crone in the Immemorial City, beyond the Shattered Sea.[1]
Airk wakes up one day in his cell with the door open. He walks out and sees that he is the only person in the middle of ancient ruins.[4] After some time Airk meets another woman in the city, Lili. She reveals herself to be the Princess of Cashmere and they share a kiss, but Airk pulls away. They are both stuck and can't seem to get out. Airk drinks from a pool of water in the city.[5]
Elora and Kit find their way to the city and see Airk greet them, smiling.[6] He tells them they have to meet The Crone because she isn't as bad as they think. However, Airk has been infected from the drinking water. Airk brings them to The Crone (who is also Lili) through a portal and The Crone tries to marry Airk and Elora. Elora's feelings for him have changed though and she backs out. Willow eventually uses magic to break this vision. While Elora magically battles the Crone, Kit battles Airk, who has been turned into the harbinger of the Wyrm. Kit finally succeeds in reverting him back to his normal self.[7]
Personality, appearance and traits[]
Airk is a confident man; who is known around the kingdom for being a "lady's man", dating many women and breaking their hearts. He is shown to be a skilled swordsman, being referred to as "the best in Tir Asleen".[1]
